Happy Friday Girls---It's Coffee Time!

Hey Girls-

We made it!  WhooHoo!!!!  It's Friday and I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!!!!

I'm also super excited for today's post.  I received an email last week from the lovely Jessica over at Wayfair.com who works with bloggers and they have put together  a blog and social content campaign called #CoffeeMyWay.  First of all, I just love Wayfair and I've bought several pieces of furniture from there for my home.  There are so many items to choose from (not just in furniture but in everything you can imagine), shipping is super quick and the pricing is awesome.  OK, back to the campagin, Jessica asked if I was interested in participating and of course I jumped at the chance because I can't live without my cup 'o joe in the morning. If not, this happens and nobody wants this :)  Y'all know what I'm talking about, right?

Anywhoodle, Jessica told me that the campaign is all about sharing your coffee ritual in the morning...how you drink it, where you have it, do you have rituals?  So gals, that's just what I'm going to share with you this morning....everything about coffee and my extreme love for it.

My love for the great coffee bean is not just limited to the morning time...I love coffee flavored anything; bread, drinks, sweets...you name it I will probably love it.  Because I travel so much and because Starbucks is pretty much everywhere, I always, well 99% of the time unless it's Pumpkin Spice Latte season, get the Vanilla Iced Coffee with nonfat milk.  It's my jam!  Oh, how I love it and how I'm salivating just thinking about it.  I'm going to have to go out this morning and get me one!

But I also love going to local coffee shops that can brew it in such a special way that just makes it absolutely perfect like this...

OK, girlies, so this is how my morning usually goes.  When I'm not working out with my trainer, I rise about 7am and the first thing I do after taking my dogs out is reach for my most favorite K-cup (Starbuck's Vanilla or Cinnamon Dolce or Donut House Chocolate Glazed Doughnut) from my favorite Gloss Cinnamon colored Keurig coffee maker.  This is the second Keurig I have owned and I am obsessed with it---I will never NOT have one.  Everyone has their own personal preference but for a gal that lives by herself like me this is the best option because I like having a cup at a time---although I just adore the smell of coffee brewing and have had many Bath & Body Works coffee candles because they just smell delicious.

Now on to my favorite part of the coffee experience...the creamer.  I am one of those people that drink coffee for their creamer.  I just love it!  Add in a little Bailey's (on the weekend, of course) and I am good to go. This is what my creamer door in my fridge looks like 100% of the time.  I love having different options to choose from.  Almond Joy & Bailey's Mudslide (non alcoholic) are my absolute faves!

So, more times than not, after I have made my delicioso cup o' joe, I snuggle up under my comfy cozy blanket on the couch and watch the morning news.  My living room is my haven and where I spend most of my time but I love having this alone time with just my thoughts.  It's also the time where I catch up with my day planner and see what all I have scheduled for the day. But mainly it's just me time and I cherish these moments I have every single morning.
Now there are days when I'm feeling a bit more awake and on those days I will sit down at my kitchen table with the paper or my "stories" as I call them and get caught up on all my worldly "going on's" instead of watching the news.
All in all, this is how I spend my morning...face first in at least 2 cups of deliciousness to get my day started!  Oh coffee, how I love you!

Alright my gal pals, that's how I take my coffee---how do you take yours?  Can't wait to see all the other #CoffeeMyWay posts and tags :)  Now go and have yourself a big cup and enjoy the rest of your Friday!

Thanks y'all!  I hope you have a super fantastic weekend and come back on Monday for my recap!

Whatchu Doing Wednesday...

Hi Girls-
Happy Wednesday!  You are halfway there and I don't know about you but I think every day has been a Monday for me.  I'm trying to be better about mindless complaining because I am so richly blessed but y'all this week has been trying my patience..like for reals!  I have a big meeting a week from today with a huge customer and all hands have been on deck for over a month now.  With that being said, I've had to endure 2-3 hour conference calls, late night phone conversations with my boss, change after change in presentations and hours of wondering the "what could go wrong?" during the meeting thoughts.  I am sooooo ready for April 30th I just can't even stand it.

Fortunately, the weather has been the one positive over the last couple of days.  NC had been hit with day after day of rainy, cloudy or gloomy weather over the last week and it got me wondering if we were ever going to see the sunshine again.  But lo and behold, it came out and looks like it is planning on staying out for awhile.

I couldn't really find a good meme for what I was looking to talk about today until I stumbled upon this beauty here---anyone else watch Diff'rent Strokes when they were little?  Funny story, one of my girlfriend's son just started watching this series a couple of months ago and he is totally convinced that it is a current TV show.  He's 6.  What I love about it is he keeps asking about new episodes and she's not quite sure what she's going to say when they've gone through them all.  He even says "Whatchu talkin' bout momma?"  It really is so funny!

Anywhoodle, I thought I'd give you gals a glance at what I've been up to this week.

What I'm Eating this Week:
I have been jonesing for tomato soup everyday this week.  I'm thinking it's a vitamin deficiency or something.  I've made this a couple of times already.  My favorite is the Progesso Tomato Basil.  But other than that, my daily snacks have consisted of Skinny Girl popcorn, pistachios, cheese sticks and yogurt.  I am also obsessed with these Sargento Balanced Breaks---it's a perfectly portion trio of cheese, dried fruit and nuts for under 200 calories and 7 grams of protein. I'm also pretty excited for my new delivery of Hello Fresh meals this week.

What I'm Reading this Week:
OK, so the extent of my reading this week has been my new Woman's Day & Food Network magazine as well as my new Rodan + Fields Product Guide (just received my kit today so I'm sure y'all will hear more about this later).  I need to get a good book---any suggestions?  I need something light so nothing deep that requires a lot of thought and energy.

What I'm Looking Forward to this Week:
Honestly, I'm looking forward to this week being over---not just the work week but the weekend too so that I can have my meeting next week and a ton of my stress will be alleviated.

What I'm Loving this Week:
The kids came over on Monday and the littlest diva and I had a crazy face selfie sesh.  I love this kid and her energy and her spunk and her sassy attitude and well, everything about her.  Her face is pretty much the same in all the pics---I'm obviously practicing my facial exercises.

What I'm Working on this Week:
I'm working on finalizing Le Guy's reveal post tomorrow and how we met, what I love most about him etc. and putting together some super fun Friday Favorites.
What I'm Dreading:
Getting everything together for my big meeting next week and cleaning out my garage this weekend.  My garage is a total mess.  Unlike my house, which is pretty neat and tidy, my garage seems to be my catch all and I am super embarrassed by it at the present moment.  So, this weekend, Operation Garage commences and it will be in perfect working order by Monday.
What I'm Watching:
Southern Charm, Scandal & The Love Boat.  Yep, you heard it right, how random and different these shows are.  But y'all---did you see Scandal last week?  Oh my word, say it ain't so...I can't wait to see how it picks up on Thursday.  Southern Charm is definitely my worst guilty pleasure outside of my Real Housewives of "Who Cares" addiction.  This week got a little saucy with ole T-Rav's Baby Mama Katherine partying it up like she's still a 23 year old.  Oh wait, she is a 23 year old and he hasn't "put a ring on it" so girl, live it up!  Guess we'll have to see what happens next week?  And The Love Boat---I'll be honest, I got stopped by it twice this week because it comes on after Beverly Hills, 90210.  And I watched both episodes in its entirety.  LOL, I am such an Isaac fan!

What I'm Annoyed by:
I'm annoyed by rude people.  And by rude, I mean just basic manners.  When did people stop saying please & thank you and holding the door for the person behind them or letting someone go in front of them when they have 82 items in the check out line at the grocery store and you only have a gallon of milk?

What I'm Listening To this Week:
I am obsessed with the Bruno Mars & Bon Jovi channels on Pandora.  Did I mention that my cousin works for Pandora?  I'll admit, it makes me a little jelly.  I just imagine it being so much fun to work there---I kind've think of it like that Google movie that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson were in.  Y'all know what I'm talking about?

Alright gals, that's What I'm Doing this Wednesday!  What do you have going on?  See you tomorrow as I link up with the awesome Vanessa over at X-Tremely V and Penny over at Penny's Passion for Thinking Out Loud Thursday.  You should link up tomorrow if you haven't already

Weekend Recap....Gyozas, Wine, Movies, Mountains & More

Hi Girls-

Happy Monday Y'all!  I hope that all you beautiful gals had a super awesome weekend.  I know I certainly did and that included the laziest Sunday of all times for me as well.

Do y'all feel like this today?  I love it!
Well, let's get to it!  What did you get into over the weekend?

Friday night, I indulged in one of my Hello Fresh meals of Beef Gyozas with spicy soy-glazed green beans.  I am absolutely loving this meal delivery system.  I know there are tons out there but this one is really a great program for me.  The dinner was absolutely delish! The evening was finished off with the movie Rock of Ages, which reminded me how much I really love 80's rock.

Saturday morning my lovely church life group gals came over.  I have really missed them.  We took a break for a couple of weeks to accommodate for some Easter travel schedules.  I also know I say this every time I talk about this super fantastic group of women but I am so truly blessed that they are all apart of my life.  We have such a great fellowship and the honesty amongst the group is sometimes overwhelming.  Lots of tears, laughter, humility and a love of Christ is something I can expect almost every time I am with them.  And I know when they say they are praying for me, that they really are.  My church believes that your growth doesn't often happen while sitting in rows but rather in circles and that's why life group is so important to me.

Anywhoodle, after that, in an effort to mark off another thing on my 36 Things List my trainer offered up going hiking at one of the local state parks nearby.  Of course it seemed like a brilliant idea but after the 2.2 mile (one way straight up and then back) hike, I was really starting to question my reasoning for putting it on my list.  But I did feel like I had accomplished something after reaching the end of the trail and seeing the magnificent views atop Crowder's Mountain.  My trainer brought along his super awesome girlfriend.

My awesome trainer Jeramy.

After feeling like I was nearly going to die and catching my breath realizing that I really wasn't going to, we made our way back down the mountain side.  Le Guy and I had a quick dinner at super fancy Jersey Mike's as we had plans at my girlfriend's house that night.

And this is what the snacks looked like---oh my word!  Like seriously, we could have had another 10 people over and still had food left.  But we are such foodies and love a good wine and great conversation!  Perfect way to end my already perfect day!
Sunday was the laziest day imaginable.  After church and some lunch, I ended up spending a couple hours with a friend of mine and her sweet kids coming over and we watched Lego Movie together.  Everything is awesome!  You know what I'm talking about if you've seen the movie.

Alright ladies, that's my weekend recap!  I am so excited to be back in the swing of things with writing on here after my brief blogatus (blog hiatus) and have some great stuff coming this week like Four Things and a post about my coffee ritual for wayfair.com.

Hope y'all have a great Monday!
